Position: Manager-Customer Support (Technical Service) - Pan India

Location: Pune
Reporting to: Director Sales & Marketing

Reportee : 25+

Criteria : BE/BTech/BSc with 7+ years of experience in Technical Service from Chemical Industry. Person will be responsible to handle Pan India role , must be willing to travel. 

Industry Preference: Chemical, Paint, Coating, Sealant, Bonding, Adhesive (with Auto OEM exposure)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Manager Customer Support (Technical Service) to lead technical support operations across Pan India. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in the chemical industry and a proven track record in customer support, product application, and technical service. The role requires extensive travel and direct engagement with clients, ensuring product success and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee new product development, trials, application, and evaluation to ensure alignment with customer requirements.

  • Manage customer complaints and queries, ensuring prompt resolution and technical support.

  • Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies in collaboration with the commercial team.

  • Drive sales, profitability, and cash flow targets for the technical service function.

  • Establish and maintain high-level customer relationships to enhance brand loyalty and market presence. Developing and maintaining strong high level contacts at key customers

  • Lead and mentor the technical service team, fostering skill development and operational excellence.

  • Major contact to the customer concerning commercial and - if necessary technical issues; understand and present technical concepts, internally and externally

  • Examination of contracts and documents (purchase, warranty conditions, purchase orders, etc.)

  • Elaboration of quotations and negotiations of them with the customers in accordance with the Head Customer Accounts

  • Ensure 100% delivery record is maintained to customer

  • Ensure delivery of product and services to achieve Customer delight

  • Timely collection of all outstanding payments and C-Forms

  • Overall responsible for all godowns in the region for stock maintenance - Work in them with plant teams
