Position: Storekeeper
Location: Pune
Reporting to: Team Lead Manager- Store
Criteria: Graduate or undergraduate preferable in science with 1+ Years’ experience as storekeeper or in a similar role within a store or storage facility with knowledge of SAP modules and additional certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications. SAP modules.

Familiarity with logistics and supply chain procedures.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy items, as required.

Capability to stand and work for extended periods.

Job Purpose:
A Storekeeper is responsible for managing the inventory, storage, and dispatch of goods in a warehouse or storage facility. Ensure the efficient and organized operation of the store, maintain accurate records of stock levels, consumables, oversee the receipt and dispatch of goods and implement inventory control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring that stock levels are monitored and replenished as necessary.

Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with inventory records.

Report any discrepancies, shortages, or overages to the management.
Receiving and Dispatching:
-
Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials, ensuring they match purchase orders and quality standards.

Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery
Storage and Organization:
-
Organize and store items systematically in designated locations to optimize space and ensure easy retrieval.

Implement and maintain an efficient layout for the storage area.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions, including receipts, dispatches, returns, and stock levels.

Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management
Safety and Compliance:
-
Ensure that the storage area is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Comply with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
Coordination and Communication:
-
Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to coordinate the receipt and dispatch of goods.

Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory or shipments.
