Position: Lead Mechanical Tankages

Location: Panipat Project (Site)
Reporting to: Construction Management Incharge Project Director/ RCM
Criteria:

  • Minimum Diploma/BE/B. Tech Full time (Any Engineering Stream) with 18 + Years (Must have experience of 2-3 Tankage/Storage Terminal Project of Substantial Work volume) from EPC Oil & Gas Industry 

  • Minimum 8-10 Tankages project experience directly on-site, in reputed EPC companies shall be mandatory.

  • Must be conversant with Quality requirements, PESO requirements, Special painting requirement, overall responsibility of multi-disciplinary works including testing & Pre- Commissioning shall be mandatory.

  • Familiar with all relevant code and standard applicable for the site fabricated Storage tanks.

Job Specification: 

To drive the project by fulfilling project objectives through seamless planning, monitoring, controlling and construction management of the EPC Project end to end. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • In Oil & Gas projects as Site Mech Engineer with special responsibility of mechanical activities related to large size Oil Storage Tanks with all accessories. 

  • Preparing budget, resource deployment plan in accordance with the Project Schedule & Cost Plan. 

  • Work on Risk Management / Risk Register. Ensure that risks are tracked and managed, and quality, cost, and schedule are monitored and controlled throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Monitor the project by collecting information to support status reporting, progress measurement, and forecasting, and distributing this information to stakeholders. MIS & Dashboard development or as per the requirement. 

  • Determine and apply the measures for monitoring the achievement of specific project results throughout the project to identify compliance with the requirements and unsatisfactory performance by the Contractor. 

  • Ensure project HSSE plan is compiled to local regulations and orgn's actual applicable policies, guidelines and instructions.

  • Certification of Contractor's Invoices as per project billing break up. 

  • Change management (review of change requests for compliance with established program standards and processes) 

  • Miscellaneous works including Project Execution Plan, any such documents required in the projects. 

  • Ability to make decisions in time to meet the target goal, Lead the site team for delivery of the project progress in time. 

  • Responsible for execution of Tankages mechanical work of large size and bigger quantity independently with full compliance of quality and safety. 

  • Good knowledge of painting work and paint system applicable for Oil storage tanks in refinery and Petrochemical industry.
