Location: Chennai

Criteria: B.Com/BAF/BBA/BSc(Accounting and Finance) with 7+ years of experience as an Accounts Manager in a rigging or related industry.

Job Purpose: 

 Responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. 

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, statements, and projections.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain the annual budget in collaboration with department heads.

  • Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to management.

  • Assist in financial forecasting to support strategic planning.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs.

  • Implement effective strategies to optimise cash flow and working capital.

Tax Compliance:

  • Coordinate with external tax consultants to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

  • Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

 Audit and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with auditors to facilitate annual audits and address any audit findings.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and support their financial needs.

  • Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff.
