Position: Production/QC Engineer
Location: Chennai
Criteria: B.E/ B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field) with 2+ experience in production and quality control from rigging or heavy equipment industry.
Other Skills Set:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in using relevant software and tools for documentation and reporting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Job Purpose
Coordinate production processes, manage schedules, and enhance efficiency. Ensure quality control, conduct inspections, and address issues promptly. Maintain records, generate reports, and communicate. Identify process improvements, provide training, and collaborate across teams for seamless production
Job Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Oversight:

Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes.

Create and manage production schedules to ensure timely project completion.

Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements.
Quality Control:

Develop and enforce quality control procedures for rigging product fabrication.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal specifications.

Investigate and address quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of production and quality control activities.

Generate reports on production performance and quality metrics.

Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction while maintaining product quality.

Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design changes for improved manufacturability.
Training and Development:

Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and safety protocols.

Stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge with the team.
Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination throughout the production process.
