Position: DGM- Sales - Foam Furnishing

Location: Mumbai

Criteria: Any Graduate / B. E. / B. Tech with Min 10+ Years with Sales of Adhesive

Job Purpose

  • Would be responsible for maximize the sales in close coordination with existing sales team and Distributors / dealers, on Pan India basis.

  • To ensure the deep product performance understanding and strategy implementation through the sales team by way of regular interaction with sales teams and customers/distributors and clients at abroad.

  • Maximize the market share in all the territories through retail division, distributors, dealers, retail shops etc.

  • Understand in depth the industrial market of all the adhesives’ requirement across India in foam & furnishing industry by targeting specific segments and creating a unique positioning for these products of the company.

  • Communication downwards and upwards Monthly Sales and Business Performance.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning and achieving national sales targets. 

  • Set Annual goals and objectives for the team to follow. 

  • Supervising sales team and Distributors on day-to-day basis. Conducting accompaniment calls. Guiding the sales managers to ensure strategy alignment and act as their enablers. Demonstrate by doing. 

  • Travelling pan India to develop new markets in various geographies, add teams as per company’s strengths in particular geography, product, pricing etc. 

  • Develop a business strategy with positioning. 

  • Be the owner of the Product features, advantages, and customer benefits. 

  • Develop Pricing, Positioning, Distribution, communication strategy. Take it forward to the sales team to enable them to implement it in the marketplace. 

  • Develop & execute promotional activities. 

  • Supervise new product development and launching in specific market. 

  • Evaluating and recommending new distributors. 

  • Monitoring distributors’ credit control mechanism and supporting him. 

  • Allocating time to visit all the customers / distributors’ markets regularly. 

  • Evaluating and recommending new distributors. 

  • Monitoring distributors’ credit control mechanism and supporting it. 

  • Review orders from OEMs and distributors and ensure supplies and monitor payment flow from him. 

  • Advise sales teams to develop new OEM clients and take them forward to close the deal after detailed technical and commercial discussions. 

  • Review status of technical and non-technical complaints and coordinate with BU/HO. 

  • Develop and document application knowledge. 

  • Develop key presentations to be given to the customers. 

  • Train the sales team continuously on the technical and application aspects. 

  • Keep tracking the technological changes and work on new product or existing product development for better performances. 

  • Remain engaged with markets for pricing, new technology trends etc. 

  • Ensure adherence to the meeting and reporting compliance. 

  • Comprehend competitor strategies in the market and design counter measures
