Position: Human Resource Specialist
Location: Pune, India
Department: Human Resources – Corporate Services
Reporting to: BH-GM- India
Criteria: MBA(HR) with 10+ Year of experience in Human Resource Professional.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be able to prioritize while remaining flexible with changing priorities.
- Independently manage a heavy workload while being a functional and collaborative member of the local team.
- Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills, experience in other general HR tasks.
- Ability to interact with global team, with appropriate cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Questioning and listening skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with SAP preferred.
Job Summary
- Human Resources professional with experience in a similar role.
- Provide support to the GM to create and enhance an atmosphere in which employees are actively involved and engaged in the success of the business in the manufacturing facilities in India
- Work in collaboration with existing team members to meet objectives related to recruitment, disciplinary issues, termination, enforcing company policies and other HR matters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand employee needs and advise leaders on how to facilitate increased engagement on part of employees and in dealing with complex employee relations issues. Provide tactical support in all functional areas of HR
- Regular travel to Pune & commercial office in Mumbai. Will be involved in highly confidential situations as well as responsible for confidential and time sensitive material- - 20%
- Understand & manage company’s compensation, performance management, benefits and other employee-related policies in order to answer questions raised by leaders and employees. Act as a conduit between leaders / employees and specialists within the existing team- 20%
- Manage the local insurance claims, employment process, data management, personnel records and salary actions for India. Coordinate with global HR team for open positions. Manage recruitment, orientation, training & development of employees- 20%
- Succession Planning & Organizational Structuring. Employee Handbooks, Employee engagement activities. Handling IR related issues- 15 %
- Work with the global HR Team to ensure all HR activities are accomplished at the highest standards. Participate in regular assignments of HR team like Corporate Communication write ups, organizing performance management training, leave balances reports and recruitment updates, role calibration, compensation & salary benchmarking, SAP Adjustments and revaluing existing jobs and modifying Job Descriptions- 15%
- Project management for HR matters and other projects to help streamline processes in the regional organization- 10 %
