Position: Territory Sales Manager

Location: Ahmedabad

Department: Sales

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

Criteria:

Bachelor in engineering degree holder in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Civil (MBA will be an added advantage) with 3+ Years of Experience Manufacturing / Building Material

Essential Criteria:

  •  Knowledge of building product sales would be an added advantage.

  •  Should be able to communicate across levels.

  • Excellent Sales Management skills with focus on management of dealer.

  • Experience in secondary sales and retailer connect.

  • Should have handled sales of a particular area independently.

  • Should have conceptualized, initiated and implemented sales promotion activity in past.

  • Should have potential to handle multiple products with different customer base.

  • Should have proven record of excelling sales target on regular basis.

  • Should be open to extensive travel if required

Purpose

To manage sales activities in the region through devising marketing strategy to promote product pull, brand, customer base and management of dealers and generating sales from primary and secondary. To achieve sales target for the region on daily basis and control financials like Bad debt, Outstanding of the region.

Objectives 

  • Promote sales in terms of volume, pricing, dealership network and promotion in terms of value added product sales (coated glass & mirror).

  •  Generate Secondary sales and develop Retail network.

  •  Handle multiple products and ensuring sales volume as per target set.

  • Ensure timely order processing and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  •  Strategies sales activities keeping in mind sales forecast, market trends, competitor’s activities etc.

  •  Support the respective departments to resolve quality complaints and other issues related to product in efficient manner.

  • Focus on value selling and solution selling of all products range to the customer.

Principal accountabilities

  •   Ensure sales target is met in the region. To initiate different sales promotion activities like dealers meet, product demonstration, customer visit, technical forums, customer knowledge session, etc.

  • To maintain long term business relationship with stakeholders by ensuring integrity and compliance as per Company Code of Conduct.

  • New product promotion and market feedback to management for better sales strategies and market information system from customers/market visits.

  • Manage product pricing keeping in view market condition.

  • Exploration of new markets in the region and establish new customer base.
