Position:  Application Engineer

Location: Pune

Reporting to: Application Manager

Criteria: B.E/B.Tech/ Diploma( Electrical, Electronics, Computer or Instrumentation) with 2+ years of experience in Special Purpose Machine Development 

Technical Skills:

  •  Knowledge of Ladder logic, Function Blocks, and STL.

  •  Knowledge of industrial protocols required to interface third part devices.

  • Experienced in working with TIA Portal, GX-Works3, ISP Soft, software along with simulation.

  • Experienced in HMI and SCADA systems, STL experience is required.

  • Practical knowledge of I/O bus systems (Profibus, ProfNet), Industrial protocols (Modbus TCP, TCP/IP, Serial RS232/485).

  • PLC Programming knowhow (preferably Siemens and Mitsubishi)

Job Profile:

  • Understanding RFQ received from Customers, for analyzing system requirements.

  • Preparing Electrical and Control system-related BOM.

  • Conducting meetings with the electrical or mechanical team to demonstrate how processes will work.

  • Developing and installing machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages.

  • Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation.

  • Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.

  • Troubleshooting system errors.

  • Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs.

  • Documenting development processes.

  • Providing clients with technical support.
