Position:  Design Engineer- Mechanical

Location: Pune

Reporting to: Director

Criteria: BE Mech with 2+ years of experience in the Design of a Special Purpose Machine.

Technical knowledge

  • Knowledge of special purpose machines (SPM), assembly jigs & fixture design & preferably from industrial automation background.

  • Exposure of 3D design & amp; detailing on CATIA software.

  • Should be able to design independently and lead other team members. 

Job profile·        

  • Responsible for preparing design concepts in detail once received guidelines from manager/team leader.

  • Modification of design after DAPS, internal review etc.

  • Preparation of DAP documents & ready to visit customer site if required.

  • Preparation of manufacturing drawings- layouts, assembly drawings, part drawings etc.    

  • Preparation of GA layouts, sensor layouts as per requirement of system.       

  • Design calculations with the help of team leaders.

  • Maintaining design documentation and preparation of bill of materials.

  • Selection of pneumatic items based on calculations.  

  • Checking of manufactured assemblies as per drawings released. Study of achieved results against expected results.    

  • Support during manufacturing and assembly for any concern related to design.    

  • Customer support in case of unavailability of senior team members.        

  • Updation of drawings in case of changes in design during manufacturing, assembly, trials and on site modifications.        

  • Provide necessary help to site and manual preparation
