Position:  Sourcing Manager 

Location: Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Sourcing Leader

Criteria: BE/BTech with MBA(Materials Management/Supply Chain) with 10+ years experience in Sourcing (5+ years in Capex Sourcing ) in Manufacturing Industry (Greenfield / Brownfield project)

Key Responsibility:

  • Leading Sourcing of Capex equipment and services to drive operational performance excellence to a world class level.

  • Work closely with Suppliers, Project Team, Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Indirect Taxation teams. Lead the Development, Management, and Implementation of the Capex Category Strategy for the Projects

  • Be equipped with periodic market Intelligence for various Base commodities, viz, Metals, Cement, Polymers, and share with the Project team and embed it in the Procurement Planning.

  • Productivity improvement programs, Drive costs reduction initiatives

  • Negotiate better Payment terms for the organization in line with Global/Regional references

  • Share timely market intelligence with all key stakeholders to drive cost saving opportunities  

  • Ensure suppliers perform as per the agreed metrics
