Position: Logistics Executive
Department: Logistics
Location: Mumbai- Shahapur
Reporting to: Supply Chain Head
Criteria: Any Graduate with 3+ years of working experience in Handling Logistic functions, supplying chain and warehouse management.
Other Skill Set
- Knowledge of Import / Export documentation & process
- Understanding of dealing with freight Forwarding companies for international shipments
- Strong understanding of working with Local Transport companies and must have strong negotiation skills
- Manage warehouse team (Warehouse supervisor/ Picker / Packer Team)
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
- Handling DG/Non-DG goods will be an advantage
Job Responsibility:
- Managing the complete logistic functions (Import / export) and domestic movements of goods & warehouse operation (Third Party Logistic / Own Warehouse).
- Coordination with CSP team for providing them negotiated rates for International / domestic shipments
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements & plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Inventory Management – Monthly stock taking & stock reconciliation
- Finalizing contract with nominated Freight forwarding, logistic companies & 3PL for desired service & expectations
- Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Prepare daily GRN, Outward, Imports/Export DSR and send to the CS team.
- Should have understanding of material packaging for no damage & safe deliveries. Also, able to manage floor team for daily outward picking and packing of goods.
- Understanding how to generate E waybills
- Prepare Daily tracking report for outward and inward shipments & need to send to CS team. Making sure that all outwards are delivered to the customer on time.
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities (Invoice / Packing list, in/out checklist, POD copy/docket, E-way bill for in and out)
- Maintaining all relevant documents as per the ISO requirements.
- In case of Damage/lost/short shipment, responsible for lodge the complaint with insurance company on immediate basis.
- Sole responsible for all custom clearance activities like BOE Filling, Duty payment, E-way bill and timely delivery.
- Sole responsible for checking and approving invoices from transporters, CHA, Freight forwarders, Courier companies and 3PL warehouse based on their agreement.
