Position : QE/QA Engineer
Location : India/Vietnam
Qualifications and Skillsets
- 2+ years of testing on ecommerce web application development with 1+ years in QA Automation
- Demonstrable skills in preparing overall QA/QE strategy and writing/automating unit test cases
- Demonstrable skills in QA tools – Postman, Appium, LoadRunner/JMeter, Selenium, PyTest etc.
- 2+ years of scripting experience in Java or Python
- Exposure to multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, REST APIs
- Must have experience in a Scrum based Agile development processes
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Excellent communication skills. Candidates must speak, read and write English well.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strategic thinking and Problem-solving aptitude
- Exposure to Jenkins, Dockers and Kubernetes based infrastructure is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Sanity, Performance and Security testing to identify shortcomings
- Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning and Automation strategy
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
- Collect quality data to identify key KPIs for managing high product quality
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management
- Create QA/QE documentation (Test Strategy, Unit Test Cases, Automation strategy etc) and ensure that this documentation remains current throughout development
- Work well in both a team environment as well as a sole contributor with little or no supervision
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Accurately estimate QA effort to deliver high quality projects on time and on budget
Pl note : This profile also involves occasional travel to African countries.
