Position: Assistant Manager - Customization Lab (2 Wheeler Coatings)
Location: Mangalore
Reporting to: Dy. Manager CL
Criteria:Candidates with B tech/ M Tech in polymer science / Chemical engineering /M Sc. / Diploma Surface Coatings with min 3- 5 years’ experience in automotive coating development
Technical & Professional Knowledge: 2 Wheeler Automotive Coatings ingredients and formulation technology.
Objective:To carry out material tests and examinations and develop new or improve existing products, processes and methods with a focus on customers
Position Brief: This position will be responsible for development of Automotive Coatings for 2 Wheeler Segment.
Job Responsibility:
- Works on development of new products and adaptation of existing products and tests the same to ascertain conformance to customer requirements.
- Solves problems, examines root causes of encountered problems and works out sound scientific solutions to problems.
- Follows safe work practices in line with Company's requirements.
- Supports Production department in standardization of new products.
- Maintains all records / documents (e.g. design of experiments (DOE)) as per ISO / TS requirements.
- Follow lab safety practice and the RC guidelines.
- Visit customers to resolve the issues at line.
