Position: Lead Engineer – PCB Design

Location: Pune

Criteria:

Candidates with Diploma / MSC/ B.E in Electrical / Electronic with min 6 years’ experience in PCB design

Work Experience and Skills:

Candidate must have 6+ years of experience in designing PCBs.
Strong fundamental knowledge of PCBs in all Aspects is essential.
Sound knowledge of PCB design tools like Eagle, Mentor PADS is required.
Candidate must have knowledge of High power design (High Voltage and Current), High speed designs.
Candidate must know concepts of DFM, DFA, DFT, Mechanical aspect of PCB Design.

Hands on Experience of 6+ years of Design the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) for automotive and Industrial applications using Eagle, Mentor PADS or similar PCB CAD software. This includes schematic capture, layout and CAM processing (Gerber generation).

Essential duties and responsibilities:

PCB Layout from scratch for Automotive and Industrial Products.
Capture Schematics based on inputs from Hardware Engineers.
Create and maintain PCB component libraries within the PCB CAD and PLM server systems.
Collaborate with mechanical designers to ensure integrity of mechanical and thermal design aspects.
Work experience on modules like DC-DC Converters, RF Trans receiver, Bridge Drivers preferred.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Team to address DFM/DFA issues.
Work as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Undertake multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, managing your own time to deliver according to project milestones.
Qualification of bare boards with support from Hardware/Mechanical/Proto/Validation Teams
8) Coordinate with PCB manufacturers to clarify design requirements and resolve problems encountered during manufacturing of the bare boards.
Should have sufficient knowledge of PCB standards of IPC-2221/IPC-2222, IPC-7351, IPC-A-600, IPC-2152.

Responsible for complete documentation packages including layout, fabrication & assembly drawings.
