Designation: Lead Engineer - Hardware
Location: Pune
Criteria: B.E /B Tech / M. Tech in Electronics or Electrical engineering with 3+ years of hands on experience in hardware design of Automotive/ Industrial Product.
Skills:
1) Analogue, Digital and communication circuit design including microprocessors/microcontrollers,
2) SMPS design, DC-DC convertor, LDO.
3) Schematic capture, PCB and simulation using LT spice, Orcad, Pspice or similar.
4) Power Electronics, thermal Design and BLDC motor Control
5) Knowledge about quality tools like 8D, FMEA, CAPA, Why-Why analysis
6) Understanding of part and product reliability
7) RF Design (optional) applicable for RF projects only
8) Application knowledge of Safety, EMIEMC standards
9) Experience in managing a complete design cycle (specification, development, validation)
10) Experience of high volume and cost sensitive product hardware design
11) Hardware functional testing and testing equipment.
12) Excellent documentation, reporting and communication skill
13) Experience and ability to manage a collaborative team
14) A good team Player
Job Description
1) Carries out detailed electronic circuit design, including simulation and design verification testing
of the new design.
2) Selects new parts, taking into consideration obsolescence, availability and cost. Also check
alternative equivalent parts availability.
3) Create designs which involve electronic control of the electrical and thermal performance of
automotive and industrial systems.
4) Consider applicable Electrical/ Environmental/ EMI EMC standards of testing and validation
while designing new circuits.
5) Prepares and presents electronic designs to other members of the design team and project
stakeholders at design reviews.
6) Documentation of design work and prepares reports, ensuring design files and information are
kept up to date and stored in accordance with company/ function procedures.
7) Attends training as required, develop skills and knowledge keeping up to date with latest
technology.
