Position:  Plant HR Manager

Location:  Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Plant HR Leader

Criteria

  • Candidate with full time postgraduate course in MLS, MLW, MSW or MA (IR & PM) 
  • 8~12 year of experience at Manufacturing plant with TPM work culture is must
  • Enrollment as Welfare officer at DISH –Maharashtra State will be added advantage

Added advantages

  • Exposure to working in non-unionized setup with educated workforce will be added advantage
  • Exposure of working at Greenfield or Brownfield startup phase

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent Communication Skills – Oral & Written
  • Computer skills

Job Responsibility

  • Recruitment:  lead campus hiring program, extensively leverage company Employee referral program and search portal for diploma engineer / other profile search.
  • Rollout Onboarding and induction program in line with company LTO process.
  • Ensure timely reviews of trainees /probationer 
  • Compliances: All labour compliances, and engagement with concerned offices involving PF, labour, ESIC, employment exchange, apprentice board etc.
  • Drive and monitor contract labour compliances in accordance to applicable statues
  • Strong liaison with local authorities, industry bodies, panchayat bodies and community
  • Discipline management with instituting proactive steps against repeat occurrences 
  • Employee Welfare & Employee common Facilities - Transportation, Canteen, Locker Rooms. Leading respective committees
  • Security Management and Gate Control
  • Automobile Safety & other initiatives
  • HR MIS / Talent Centre update & MIS report generation
  • Build strong employee connect and leadership connect and have bridge of trust with management and workforce, via various channels of communication and engagement
  • Passionately work for employee grievance redresses and ensure seamless flow of benefit as per welfare schemes of the company
  • Application of knowledge and skills of HR systems & people practices ensuring continuation of performance centric work environment
  • Be fully proficient /expert in labour laws and proactively advise management on amendment and its implication on plant operation under these statutes
  • Record, Report and draw trend of HR MIS matrices, People Soft, Talent Center, other HR process software
