About Client: Our client is in Building Web and Mobile Applications.

Position: Senior PHP Developer

Reporting: Project Manager and Team Lead

Location: Cochin

Criteria: Diploma / Degree in IT / CS / MCA with  2+ years of Exp in PHP 

Technical Knowledge:

  1. Experience in PHP with MVC framework experience (Laravel, CakePHP, Codeigniter etc)
  2. Good command over OOPS
  3. Good experience in writing front-end code in HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3 etc.
  4. Good experience in JS frameworks such as JQuery/AngularJS 2+/ReactJS/VueJS and responsive designs
  5. Good working experience of MySQL
  6. Worked on performance optimization, SQL tuning, SQL Indexing, SQL partitioning, caching techniques
  7. Ability to design RESTful APIs & Web services/
  8. Experience in working with GIT and a good understanding of version control? & release practices.

Special Knowledge:

  1. Good understanding of Linux commands
  2. Ability to manage instances in AWS, Cloud Server’s
  3. Experience in AWS, NodeJS, and MongoDB will be a plus
  4. Understanding on DevOps and concepts

Skill:

  1. Cares deeply about “clean”, semantic, well-designed code and follow industry best practices.
  2. Having a passion for delivering great user experience.
  3. Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  4. Ability to work independently as well as in teams. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  5. Solid knowledge in all phases of the software development lifecycle & Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, test and deploy
  2. Fix bugs, troubleshoot and resolve problems
  3. Performs analysis, new designs, and modifications
  4. Assume ownership of code throughout development, staging, testing, and production
  5. Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
  6. Leverage the latest technologies to solve complex problems
  7. Liaise with relevant business and technical teams in relation to delivering solutions
  8. Protects operations by keeping the information confidential
  9. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
