Job Position: Unit Head – HR, IR & Admin

Reporting to: Plant Manager and CHRO (Functional)
Reportee: 2
Criteria: PG in HR / IR & Personnel Management with Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience out of which 4 to 5 years as HOD of plant Head HR
Functional Skills :
High level of patience, co-ordination, sincerity & rationality
Knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance & Government policies.
Knowledge of HR processes & policies.
Knowledge of company policies & procedures.
Knowledge of industry best practices in Personnel Management & HR.
Organization skill, Negotiation skill, Decision-making skill, Team building skill & Communication skill
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide personnel & Admin support at P5 works and ensuring maintenance of harmonious industrial relation in Environment and implementation HR processes at the plant for the smooth operation of the business.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Identify Management requirement in area of process, productivity, efficiency & its implementation
Time, cost & benchmark LTS
Design calendar & monitor its effective implementation.
No major consequences
Identify areas, preparation & design of SOP / SLA’s & its time bound implementation
Study & self auditing.
Monitoring on regular basis for effective implementation
Conduct local survey to benchmark
Co-ordinate with Corporate for implementation within prescribed time frame
Database updation & maintenance
Prepare activity calendar & its costing / budget / monitoring & controlling
Preparation of budgets and its implementation
MAJOR CHALLENGES
To increase employee engagement level & develop strong team work within plant
Process efficiency & productivity improvement within given resources
To design, develop & implement SOP & SLA’s at plant & its effective implementation
Meeting employee expectations within available resources
Due to culture and local historical perspective, implementation of best practices in the industry
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure harmonious Industrial Relation for uninterrupted manufacturing operations
Resolve labor issues that arise from time to time.
Prepare database for supportive role in LTS
Facilitate grievance resolution of employees at plant
Ensure all statutory compliance within time
Prepare calendar for compliance & its implementation
Liaison with local & semi Government bodies ( i.e. PF,Labor Department, DISH, Police, MIDC,TMA etc )
Ensure all HR policies & processes implementation. (i.e. recruitment, induction, Training, PMS, etc)
Identify areas for SOP & SLA’s
Prepare HR systems & processes for plant & its implementation.
To ensure the implementation of corporate policies
Contract Labor Management
Incorporate guidelines & as per statutory compliance, implementation of Contract Labor Management system
Salary & wage administration
Co- ordinate with Corporate for disbursement of salary & wage within prescribed time limit
Employee Welfare
To identify statutory & non-statutory welfare activities.
Design calendar for effective implementation
Administrative Support & Services for the plant.
Design & develop SLA’s & SOP’s in the area of Security, Transport, Housekeeping, Gardening, Cafeteria & effective implementation
