Job Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Diploma /Degree in electrical engineering.
- BE 3-5 years / Diploma 4-7 years of experience electrical engineer in a manufacturing facility with High voltage power facility.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Able to work as part of team
- Knowledge of electric and preferably have knowledge of high voltage power technique.
- Ability to interpret complex an electrical single-line diagram.
- Ability to interpret complex sequence control diagram and draft simple sequence control diagram.
- Knowledge of electrical machinery and apparatus.
- A sense of responsibility of equipments to be functioning include in out of working hours.
- Ability to resolve problems and to tackle challenges,
- Good leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members.
- Good coordination skills for contractors and sub-contractors.
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet specified deadline.
- Good communication skills of writing, listening and verbalizing in English.

Job Purpose:
Operation Engineer -Electrical is responsible for ensuring that maintenance activities are smoothly conducted and equipments are appropriately functioning well especially supplying electric power with high reliability, including responsibility for substation. This position must plan and manage the construction project of new electrical equipment installation and replacement.
Responsibilities :
Safety
Provide leadership in safe working practices, promoting safety awareness and performance for self and others in all areas of responsibility to achieve full compliance with site and company standards and guidelines.
- Behaving safely.
- Implementing a personal safety action plan.
- Ensuring that team member perform the work in safe environment.
- Planning power distribution facility which is satisfied OC safety standards.
Metrics
- Number of incidents in the teams.
- Safe level of electrical power supply system.
- Number of cases and downtime of electrical trouble.
- Cost saving by accomplishing energy reduction, loss/waste reduction and maintenance cost reduction.
Executing Strategy and Directing Operations
Maintenance/Operation
- Operating the power supply system and planning maintenance of the high voltage facility.
- Planning maintenance and service activities through coordinating work with mechanical engineer and the production department to ensure that equipments are functioning well.
- Ensuring that all maintenance and service activities are appropriately carried out.
- Managing document of maintenance and service activities.
- Ensuring the proper usage of maintenance tools and equipments for activities.
- Placing an order for spare and replacement parts. And managing spare parts and maintenance cost.
- Analyzing the trouble of equipment and taking actions to prevent reoccurrence for critical trouble.
- Increasing reliability of equipments by trouble reduction through the activities of changing design, modification and improving maintenance work.
- Responding the request from production department, safety improvement, cost reduction, quality improvement and so on.
