Position: NBD & Marketing Communications Manager
Location: Pune
Reporting To: Business Head
Criteria: B.E/B.Tech(Polymer/Chemical) / MBA(Marketing, International Business) with 9+ Years experience in B2B with strong exposure of Marketing, Business Development, or Strategic Management from Speciality Chemicals
Knowledge:
● Strong understanding of B2B markets, go-to-market strategy, and long sales cycles (ideally in specialty chemicals);
● Ability to translate technical value into commercial messaging, with solid strategic and analytical thinking;
● Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, operating effectively across functions and international markets.
Required Experience:
● Proven track record in market expansion or go-to-market strategy.
● Experience leading cross-functional projects.
● Direct people management optional but a plus.
Job Purpose: Will drive growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities while ensuring clear, targeted market messaging. The role connects commercial strategy with external communication, shaping segment-specific positioning and go-to-market activities to support expansion into new industries and customers. It ensures that marketing communications directly enable business development objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
● Develop and drive new business growth strategy across defined market segments and geographies.
● Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, applications, and customer segments aligned with company capabilities.
● Define and refine value propositions to support market expansion and differentiation.
● Align marketing communications strategy with business development objectives, ensuring consistent and growth-oriented messaging.
● Own segment-specific positioning and go-to-market direction for new and existing markets.
● Act as the commercial interface between Sales, Marketing, R&D, and external partners to ensure coherent market approach.
● Guide and prioritise marketing communication initiatives that support pipeline generation and strategic growth targets.
● Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, translating insights into strategic actions.
● Drive brand visibility and market presence in targeted industries and strategic accounts.
● Measure and evaluate the commercial impact of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategy to maximize return on investment.
● Work in accordance with company’s values, HR and HS&E policies: instructions, minimum requirements and guidelines.
