Job Position : Product Development Manager- Water-based
Location : Navi Mumbai
Reporting to : Product Development Manager AI
Criteria: MSc. Chemistry , BSc. Chemistry, B.Tech Chemical with min 10 yrs of exp into product development.
Key Skills :
- Able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of laboratory, mixing and testing equipment and basic polymer/emulsion chemistry
- Track record of capabilities evidenced by new technologies and products developed, invention disclosures/patents/paper.
- Responsible and a go getter
- Strong business acumen
- Communication Skills (fluency in English is essential)
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ISO Documentation if any
- High energy level
Job Responsibility
- Development of water based Adhesive products for targeted customers in the market
- Generation of market relevant new product ideas and technologies based on actual and cross medial trends, scientific literature and patents
- Technical management of development projects according to the New Product Development Process from feasibility to scale up and customer trials. Independently conceives, sets-up and carries out complex experimental plans and procedures without day-to-day supervision, but with discussion and consensus as appropriate.
- Responsible for new product development & cost optimization projects
- Work on global initiatives in close relationship with the global product development team
- Handles and implements complex procedures and devises novel and unique methods/techniques/ways of solving problems.
- Ensures staff safety by identifying hazards, training lab personnel, and maintaining all EH&S requirements
- Maintains a high level of technical awareness by reviewing current literature and attending relevant conferences and short courses.
