Position: Application Engineering Associate
Location: Chennai
Reporting To: Application Engineering Manager
Criteria: BE/ B.Tech (Chemical)/MSc(Chemistry) with 1+ Year of Experience in Lab Testing. (Open for Freshers).
Job Purpose:
Responsible for carrying out testing by comprehending customer / internal specifications and test methods, report writing and providing laboratory support, batch preparation, validation, sample analysis, and so on.
Supporting the Application Engineering in lab/field for testing and applications work for the customer qualification process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lab samples preparation
• Product Testing as per Customer / Internal Test Methods - Testing knowledge of Adhesive / Sealant / Coating / Paint
• Supports for line audit, line trial for new product launches
• Runs and upkeeps laboratory equipment, supports ongoing standardization, harmonization, and administration of laboratory test methods
• Ensures laboratory and application equipment are calibrated and safety checked in compliance with local regulations.
• Handling and Testing of laboratory testing equipment and application equipment.
• Test report generation, technical report writing with precision.
• Good Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point is an added advantage.
