Position: Assistant Manager - Tax & Controls

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To:  Manager Finance & Accounting

Criteria: CA Inter/BCom with 3+ years of relevant experience from FMCG companies with Basic Knowledge of Accounts and SAP.

Specific Skills and Knowledge:

  • Should be good in excel  

  • Good Communication skill  

  • Knowledge of SAP

Interactions(Internal & External):

  •  With employees, Customers and Vendors.  

Job Purpose:

Responsible for handling Indirect Tax Related Matters & Internal Controls, Audit etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling of GST, TDS, TCS and Other statutory related work. 

  • Play a key role to ensure the Internal controls are in place. 

  • Internal Audit and Coordination with Cross Function Team for Required Details. 

  • Preparation of Various MIS for Month closing Activity and In-depth Analysis.

  • Tracking of statutory compliance of cross functions.

Additional Responsibilities:

  •  Maintaining Statutory records of Plant.

  • Physical Stock taking as per business requirement and its analysis.

  • Misc. MIS

  • Analyse the BS ledgers and have a schedule maintained which explains its movement especially for expense ledgers. Review the grouping of ledgers and suggest changes needed, if any. 

  • Scrutiny and reconciliation of Accounts Payables.
