Position: Senior Manager Design

Location: Nashik

Reporting To: Assistant General Manager Design (HOD) 

Criteria: PG/BE/BTech( Mechanical) with Min 8+ years of experience in Designing  from High voltage transmission fittings manufacturing or General Engineering , Automobile, Electrical Industries. 

Skills & Knowledge: 

  • Knowledge of Latest Auto Cad Software

  • Knowledge of Latest UG NX Software

  • Knowledge of Lighthouse ERP or any ERP Software.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint)

  • Understand the Engineering Drawing, Geometric Tolerances & Symbols. 

  • Mechanical Drafting & Detailing Skill including Reverse Engineering Skill.

  • Industrial Machines & Process Knowledge. 

  • Casting Process, Dies & Press Tool Knowledge (GDC & PDC)

  • Forging Technology & Manufacturing Feasibility Knowledge

  • Indian & International Standard Knowledge 

  • Material Selection Knowledge.

Job Description:

  • Overall responsible for smooth and efficient functioning of the Design Dept. - scheduling and Monitoring effective completion of design activities as per schedule.

  • Responsible for designing optimum and most economical products as per customer specification & market need. 

  • Ensure to develop, test & release new products within the specified project timeline . 

  • Provide full technical support to  co-functions - SCM, Production, QA & Engg. to ensure the completion of the projects on time.

  • Preparation of Technical delivery conditions, standard charts / Internal standards for easy reference. 

  • Responsible for reviewing & approving the procurement & manufacturing drawings. 

  • Ensure minimal & feasible process flow within the resources available. 

  • Timely release of correct ERP BOM for procurement and manufacturing. 

  • Responsible for intercompany technical clarification, timely offer submission & order execution. (i.e. SAE & MOA)

  • Responsible for approving supplier counter drawings, Material TDC & initiation of supplier deviations for approval. 

  • Ensure minimal & feasible process flow within the resources available. 

  • Understand and  implement the company’s strategy and mission effectively.
