Lean and Industrial Engineering Manager
Our Client: MNC- Chemical Manufacturer ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Job Position : Lean and Industrial Engineering Manager Location : Pune Reporting to : Plant Manager Criteria:
- Masters' degree in Business Administration with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in lean manufacturing role
- Experience in Chemical Manufacturing setup will be preferred
- Knowledge of Lean enterprise tools is a must
- Evaluate the key manufacturing processes performance real time and identify opportunities for improvement and reduction of waste. Once completed the process should be standardized and further optimized with the real time metrics driving investment and resource allocation decisions.
- Balance the line and layout for optimum material flow and Takt time. Determine all pulse points and set up program to optimize flow, inventory, people and process.
- Communicate project status reports on all identified initiatives using the appropriate tools. Assist in identifying further process improvement projects by running Continuous improvement and Value Stream Mapping workshops and generate saving projects.
- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows and other information to understand methods and activities. Resolve issues and develop problem solving capability in plants. Coach and teach others to develop skill set and insure ongoing control plan adherence. Drive the automation of data collection.
