Position: Assistant Manager-Quality

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Manager-Quality

Reportees: 2(Customer Service Executive, Quality In-charge)

Criteria: BTech/BE(Polymers/Mechanical/Chemical ) with 5+ years experience in the Quality control and Assurance from  Plastic, Automotive or Auto components Industry

Specific Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge on 7QC tools

  • Adherence to the safety instructions and HSE policies

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office

  • Team management

  • Good analytical skills and logical reasoning

Interactions(Internal & External):

Internal: All department

External: FG Supplier, SM Suppliers and External agency related to quality

Job Purpose: Responsible for the day to day quality control & assurance activity at vendors end/inhouse plant. Will ensures that the organization is delivering good and consistent quality products to the customer. Would be responsible for managing shop floor issues and driving continual improvement.

Key  Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor effectiveness of Quality procedures.

  • Take decisions on day to day quality issues and support effective closure of issues.

  • Analyze data, perform root cause, conclude result and report. (Complaints/Quality Incidents & alerts/Deviations)

  • Monitor performance indicators for third party agencies (customer service) and suppliers.

  • Effective co-ordination with internal departments for implementation of agreed actions.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in QA 16 Internal Audits

  • Manage records and documents as per guideline.

  • Support in continual improvements for quality processes and procedures.

  • Assist in developing a quality control plan for specification process and training of quality team members.

  • Manage incoming issues, perform root cause and conclude actions with suppliers & ensure effective closure.
