Job Title : Blending Technician
Location : Silvassa
Reporting to : Production Manager
Criteria:
- Educational Qualification / Certification: ITI/ Diploma (Chemical/ Electrical/ Mechanical)
- Knowledge / Experience: ITI - Min. 3-5 years’ experience, Diploma- Min. 1-3 years’ experience/ Fresher
Job Purpose:
To support blending activities.
Job Description:
- Ensure that he delivers the rated volumes from individual families as per the blend plan released by production executive
- Need to continuously interact with the Control room operator and production executive for smooth execution of blending operations
- Need to be in continuous touch with QC to avoid delays in blending.
- Report near misses and kaizens of the blending area to drive continuous improvement in the blending area.
- Giving samples for testing to QC of base oils & FG along with the batch cards
- Collection of ‘OK’ batch card from QC and take that into production
- Man dosing as per the AB recipe
- Reporting breakdowns in the blending and tank farm area promptly to the production executive
- Ensure that the entire operations is done as per the work instructions and laid down SOP’s
- Ensure that he clearly understands and implements the action items which are discussed during tool-box meetings on shop-floor
- Tank farm tanks line-up and closing as per SOP
