Position: Assistant Manager-Purchase

Department: SCM

Location: Nashik

Reporting to: Head SCM

Criteria: BE-Mechanical/Electrical with 5+ Years of experience in SCM with deep knowledge of Aluminium-Extrusion, Casting, Forging & fasteners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.

  • Knowledge of sourcing Metals like Steel, Copper, Aluminium etc.

  • Play a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving the organizational purchasing policies and procedures.

  • Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggesting methods to decrease expenditure.

  • Develop and implement vendor performance score cards.

  • Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

  • Experience in dealing with vendors with negotiation and decision-making skills.

  • Researching new vendors based on price and quality and selecting them based on organization of the vendor management plan.

  • Develop geographic and demographic criteria to source, screen and qualify potential vendors and suppliers.

  • Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies.

  • Coordination with all internal departments for successful development of Product and sales.
